Sunraysia follows the story of a maintenance technician on an orbital farming colony which is thrown into a state of violence and turmoil as a result of the backlash caused by world-wide attacks on Earth.

The idea for the story actually came from a university history lecture; part of the lesson included a video interview of a WW2 survivor - a Jew who lived in Nazi Germany. The tale really struck a chord with me, and although the story evolved in the adaptation to science fiction, it is certainly the inspiration behind it.

Sunraysia was originally published as part of a sci-fi anthology by my local writers group, TWPC ( http://www.twpc.org ).
